All ancient cultures observed the sky, basing much of their symbolism and worldview on celestial mechanics. In the case of the Maya, it was the backbone of their entire worldview.

I invite you, through an interactive experience, to immerse yourself and explore the Mayan worldview, and how they managed to synthesize thousands of years of astronomical observations using a tool like no other civilization on Earth has ever achieved.

Mayan Constellations and the Time Machine was developed by Antonio Gomez Miranda, who has a background in Archaeoastronomy, has written two books on Mesoamerican astronomy and worldview, several articles on the subject, and has presented his work in various museums and cultural venues throughout Mexico and internationally.
